Testimonials
“Kate has been an incredible role model for our daughter – in terms of sportsmanship, a strong work ethic, preparation, and always looking for a solution to any issue…”
“We’ve had such a long-standing relationship with Kate, she’s more like family to us than just a client-trainer relationship. My daughter and I have been riding with her for over 10 years now. Kate has been an incredible role model for our daughter – in terms of sportsmanship, a strong work ethic, preparation, and always looking for a solution to any issue. One thing that really made an impression on us from the beginning is Kate’s love of horses and appreciation of their talent. She never treats the horses as a means to solely produce a result – her philosophy is that if the horses don’t want to play and aren’t happy, then there’s no sport.”

“Training with Kate at Willow Brook is one of the best and most important experiences of my daughter’s life…”
“Kate Considine not only made my daughter a champion rider, she made her a better person. Kate helped instill in her the values of grace and poise in victory and in defeat, the relationship between hard work and success, the ability to treat failure as an opportunity to learn and improve, respect for competitors, respect for animals, respect for yourself, and so much more. Kate is a top notch coach, big sister, surrogate mother, teacher and friend all rolled into one. Training with Kate at Willow Brook is one of the best and most important experiences of my daughter’s life.”

“My daughter rode with Kate for the 2012 show season. And as a 10-year-old, I don’t think she could have had a better year competitively…”
“My daughter rode with Kate for the 2012 show season. And as a 10-year-old, I don’t think she could have had a better year competitively. She competed on a small pony, Rainbow Canyon, and a medium pony, Lakeview Pickpocket. Between the two ponies, we typically ended up champion or reserve each time out.
My daughter’s goal was to be the top WCHR (World Championship Hunter Rider) Regional Rider in the Pony Division and she achieved that and much more. She and Kate took Lakeview Pickpocket, a relatively unknown pony that was given to us to work with, and made it the top medium pony in California in one season. Pickpocket was the Overall Champion at the West Coast Pony Finals, and earned tri-colors in the medium ponies at every major California horse show including Menlo & Del Mar. They were also competitive on the east coast at Capital Challenge, winning great ribbons in a class with fifty ponies. The pony sold to a client at Heritage Farm at the end of the season. Everything worked out great for all involved.”
